Mom's Night Out (MNO)
Mothers can enjoy Mom's Night Out in the pleasing environment of Morningside Assembly of God fellowship hall located at 4310 Old Lakeport Road. Moms can bring nursing infants (0-12 months), but due to the goal of the night, the rest of the kiddos are asked to stay home. We will enjoy some prayer, relevant discussion times, and some munchies too!
Save your Hy-Vee receipts all year and turn them into cash for FOCUS. Bring your receipts to MNO. The last date to turn in Hy-Vee receipts is at the April MNO. We have had great success with this program - thanks to you!

Fall, winter and spring PE activities are planned for local homeschool children. Every Friday, beginning in September, a different PE activity will be planned. It will be from 1:00 to 2:30 p.m. Activities will include: games at Long Lines Family Recreation Center, bowling, ice skating, and games at local parks (weather permitting). Prices will be listed for each activity. All homeschoolers are welcome. Mothers (or fathers) must be in attendance with their children. E-mail announcements will be sent over the FOCUS loop weekly. Ideas for activities are always welcome.
These are scheduled throughout the year via the e-mail loop. If you think of a good idea for a field trip arrange it, announce it, and facilitate it.
